Charlie Carroll is an award-winning composer specializing in vocal, chamber, and orchestral music, driven by a deep commitment to connect with listeners on a profound level. Hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Texas, Mr. Carroll pursued his undergraduate studies in vocal performance at Baylor University in Waco.

 

Currently residing in Tallahassee, Florida, Charlie shares his life with his wonderful wife, actively contributing to the world of music as a composer and music theory educator. He completed his Doctorate of Music (DM) in Composition at Florida State University in 2024, solidifying his academic and artistic accomplishments.

 

Charlie's musical creations go beyond mere notes on a page; each measure reflects the intricacies of the human experience. His works have graced prestigious venues across North America, earning praise from audiences and critics alike. Notable ensembles and musicians, including Aural Compass Projects (NY, NY), Choral Arts Initiative (Irvine, CA), members of the Four Corners Ensemble, and performers at the East Chamber Music Festival (Toronto, ON), have brought his compositions to life, showcasing their universal allure and emotional depth.
